 Muhlenberg College is a small liberal arts college located in Allentown, PA.  It is home to a celebrated theatre program that is consistently rated one of the top in the nation.  In 2011 The Princeton Review ranked the college's theatre program as #1 in the country for non-conservatory programs.

Scenic Painting, Fall 2015

In this semester-long crash-course we explored many scenic painting techniques including, but not limited to: brick, stone, marble, trompe-l'œil, and wood grain.  Ponce and vellum transfer techniques were practiced as well as grid scaling.  Basic foam carving was also explored.

Scenic Design, Fall 2013

This class served as a basic introduction to scenic design including play analysis, sketching, orthographic projecting, perspective drawing, and rendering.  All drawing was done by hand.  Larry Shue's play The Foreigner was used as a base for all of our work in this class.

Drawing for the Theatre, Fall 2014

This course, serving as a supplement to the Scenic Design course, expanding on basic hand drafting and sketching ideas.  Skills such as dimensioning, shading, and costume sketching were explored.
